How long does it take to lay a garden patio?
We will be able to provide you with a much more accurate timescale once we have visited the property and discussed all requirements with you, but as a typical guide, laying a relatively standard sized patio on a semi-detached property will usually take around 3 or 4 days.
Will you guarantee limited disruption while laying the patio?
We always strive to keep mess and disruption to a minimum while working on your property and promise to be respectful of your neighbours. We want yourselves and the people living around you to be as comfortable as possible during the work, therefore we ensure that we keep a polite and professional manner throughout all building and landscaping projects.
What sort of garden patio surfaces and designs are there?
There are many garden patio surfaces and designs available, such as flagstone, natural cut stone, gravel, paver patios and many more. Our team are able to either put a creative design together with your approval, take your ideas on board, or work towards any examples that you may want to show us beforehand.
How long before you can walk on a newly laid garden patio?
In most cases you will be able to walk on your new garden patio immediately after completion. If for any reason you should wait before walking on the patio, we will let you know why and advise you on how long you should wait.
Can you work with a patio design that I already have planned?
Yes, of course. We would be more than happy to go through any plans that you have had drawn up previously to familiarise ourselves with them and ensure they are accurate before working to deliver the garden patio that you desire.
Will I have to be home while you carry out the work?
No, not necessarily. As long as we have access to your garden or wherever it is the patio is to be installed, and you're happy for us to let ourselves in and out when required, then there would be no need for you to be at home during the work.
Can your garden patios withstand all weathers?
To ensure that the garden patio we lay for you is capable of withstanding all weathers with ease we may recommend which materials will be best suited for you - the location of your property might make a difference, as factors such as where it sits may require certain materials.
What should I do if parts of my patio becomes loose or starts to sag?
If RGB Construction was the company that laid your block paving driveway or patio and you notice these problems not long after installation, then contact us immediately. We will assess the issue and fix any blocks that have come loose or started to sag by removing them and replacing the base layer before re-applying them securely.
Do you only design and lay garden patios in Cardiff?
